Description
The front VE/VF rotors will need to have their centres machined out from 67.4mm to 71.5mm to fit VT-VZ hubs as VE hubs are slightly smaller and the rears need to be machined to 70mm to fit the rear hubs.
We recommend getting this done correctly on a lathe so the original chamfer can be kept.
As an extra on the kit we can supply the brake pads and rotors with the centres machined out so everything is a straight bolt on application. Just supply your own calipers.
Requires at least 18 Inch rims to be able to clear the brakes and depending on the rim design the offset will need to be +35 to +40 or lower. As a general rule all VE and up HSV Wheels will clear as well as VE/VF redline wheels.
Commodores with existing brake upgrades will also require extra shims to go over your existing bolts, if you have HSV brakes etc make sure to let us know in the special instructions box and if you have PBR C5/C6 calipers you will also require some new standard VT-VZ brake lines.
The brackets are made of billet 6061-T6 aluminium and hard anodised black for longevity and the wheel stud spacers are made of stainless steel
Please Note
Your knuckles on your car are cast and may have an uneven finish and prevent the brackets from sitting correctly, if this is the case just grind the knuckle down to an even finish.
When supplying your own calipers the bleeders and crossover pipes will need to be swapped around on the Front calipers to keep your brake pad wear even, as VE/VF commodore brakes are in the trailing position and VT – VZ Brakes are in the leading position.
Using a flare spanner is recommended as the fitting are quite soft.
