INFORMATION ON: ZF 6HP26 to Nissan Patrol Transfer Case Adaptor KIT suit GQ GU ZD30 Crossmember & Driveshafts:
Planet Parts’ Transmission Adaptor Conversion kit allows you to install a Ford Falcon/Territory ZF 6HP26 2WD transmission into a Nissan Patrol Transfer Case.
This adaptor is commonly used in BARRA Patrol conversions as you can use a complete BF/FG/FGX 6-Cyl Engine and Transmission into a Patrol conversion.
It is recommended to use a Manual ZD30 Crossmember & Auto Driveshaft as it eliminates the need for a custom driveshaft length.
This adaptor will suit all Nissan Patrol Transfer Cases.
This adaptor is designed to work with our bolt-in BARRA Patrol engine mounts.
The large adaptor plate is manufactured from billet 6061 aluminium and machine polished.
Our crossmembers mounts are powder-coated black and are supplied with SuperPro polyurethane bushes.
The input shaft is manufactured from billet 40CR steel and then heat-treated, which we have found to be more than enough to handle applications up to 600kw.
However for those chasing more power, we will have a shaft for high-HP applications available shortly.Installation notes:
Will NOT suit ZF6 Transmissions built in China. Will only suit the ZF models built in Germany.
Can be used in GQ & GU Patrol applications.
Can be fitted to Auto ZD Crossmembers, however you’ll have a tighter diff-to-sump clearance.
You will need to tap/thread the mounting holes on the ZF transmission for it to mount up to our adaptor plate (M10 x 1.5).
Will NOT suit ZF6 AWD Transmissions
Installation notes:
Rubber engine mounts are not included. You will need to use a Nissan Patrol ZD30 Engine Mount for the LHS bracket and an Nissan R33 Skyline (2.5L) engine mount for the RHS bracket.

If you are looking to run the Patrol 5-Speed Manual Gearbox, you will need to purchase a bellhousing adaptor.
Unfortunately we don’t currently stock the bellhousing adaptors, but they are readily available from other parts suppliers.

All components come in a black powder-coated finish to ensure they won’t rust once installed.
Please note: Wiring kit is not included.
This kit is supplied with the parts required to fit the motor only. Additional parts will be required.
Installation notes:
This kit is designed to work with the ZD30 remote Power Steering Pump Reservoir. You will need to supply this part yourself. A longer belt is also required.The Accelerator pedal bracket/adaptor is height-adjustable, so you are able to position the accelerator pedal to your preferred position.
